Available Historic Homes In Our Midst

Although South Florida is not generally known for its historic homes, the residential neighborhoods  immediately surrounding downtown West Palm Beach are a notable exception - a step back in time; Flamingo Park, Grandview Heights, Sunshine Park and Old Northwood, to name a few, are cherished and celebrated historic communities defined by a well balanced diversity of homes, most notably 1920's Spanish Mission and Craftsman style bungalows, in addition to larger Mediterranean Revival style homes all strongly influenced by 1920's Palm Beach architect Addison Mizner.

Located on one of the highest elevations in the county - the Atlantic Coastal Ridge - these neighborhoods are characterized by lush, tree-lined streets that are extremely pedestrian and bicycle friendly, and all are within a stone's throw of the urban heart of Palm Beach County - downtown West Palm Beach.  A mix of professionals, families, artists, millenials and baby boomers characterize the diverse population of these charming neighborhoods.

Home values in these neighborhoods have consistently remained strong through the ups and downs of the South Florida real estate market, and are poised to benefit from ongoing improvements that continue to transform downtown West Palm Beach.  Currently prices range from $149,900 for a 2/1 fixer upper to $895,000 for a resort-style mini estate.

Ask me about other neighborhoods at different price points - all with the "charm factor."  They are not hard to find - if you know where to look.  So if you're thinking about buying  - or selling - or are just curious - feel free to reach out to a local resident - me.
